Steinberg, starring Joey King, Ryan Kwanten, Ed Harris and Sarah Bolger. It tells the story of a 17-year-old girl named Sara who makes a wish that she can be anyone in the world for one day on April 16th - the same date on which she dies in an accident. When Sara wakes up on April 16th as someone new, her old life is suddenly no more. The film was released on September 19, 2012 by New Line Cinema. Sara (Joey King) is a 17-year-old girl who is killed in an accident on April 16th, the day she will turn 18. After her funeral, her grandmother (Pam Grier), who knows that Sara was killed on that day, makes a wish that Sara can live again on April 16th if she chooses to do so. She then passes away. A few hours later, Sara wakes up in the bed of an unknown male with no memory of anything that has happened since her accident or who she is supposed to be - only knowing how to play guitar and sing. She is then introduced to her mystery date, Seth (Ryan Kwanten), who she thinks is the same man who killed her after being told by a strange figure in his apartment. Sara shows up at Seth's apartment with no memory of what happened, only to have it ripped away from her as soon as she hears him sing his own version of "Wish Upon a Star". When the day comes for Sara to wake up again, she does not see her grandmother's face before the light goes out. She tries to call out for help but no one answers. She then wakes up in bed at home with her eyes closed. She hears a phone ringing in the distance and realizes that she is in her own body. She then gets out of bed and heads towards the ringing sound of the ringing cell phone, picking it up just before it goes to voicemail. Sara then goes into her living room, where she discovers that her mother (Leah Pipes) has received a letter from the same lawyer who wrote their lawyer saying that Sara has died and left everything to her. Apparently, Sara did not sign anything leaving everything to her mother at all, but instead made arrangements so that everything would go to a music academy for underprivileged children after she turned 18. Her parents were apparently supposed to be at this signing but never showed up. The story turns to Sara's father (Andrew Jacobs), who is shown in the hospital recovering from his injuries he received when he was in a car accident with his wife. Apparently, Sara's mother has not been home because she was in the hospital with her husband. She then decides that she wants to check out her grandmother's house and goes over there, only to find that the place is being cleared out by a moving crew. She asks them where her grandmother has gone but they just tell her that she was evicted from the house after not paying the rent for months on end and have no idea where she is or how to get a hold of her. cfa1e77820
